Not the bridge though. This bit of concrete is all that remains.

The water mill wheel is still there. Amazing as the river was completely over it.

I'm not waving "howdy". The water was this high (and we are about 100 feet from the creek).

Holy smokes... That's one heck of a flood.

Good luck drying out and getting stuff put back together.

Thanks guys. Many, many people have lost everything. For us it's just a bit of yard work and a few additional miles travel to get to town. We still have the house (the power stayed on) and this only affects the fringes. Although I just had all the sticks in the yard picked up...

Wow! Did the bridge sink or get washed down stream in the flood. Glad you and yours are ok. I would hat to see that great old water wheel devastated. The clean up begins.

There was about a 3-foot drop after the bridge, so I guess it's down in that hole now. Trying to justify to my wife that I need a new(-ish) tractor with front loader and backhoe. For some reason she can spend that kind of money with little thought, but questions if I spend $10 on an old hat.
