What Hat Are You Wearing Today 1?

Good evening. I am with Jeff in that I put on a hat for a short bit and either changed it or went without.

Vtg.Stetson Premier Milan mid-day.

Vintage Stetson Whippet for grilling lunch. Excellent hat, but too warm a hat to wear for any time today.

Vintage Adam thin ribbon I wore out of the house for some weed-wacking. Took it off soon after and laid it on a tree branch.

Looks good on a tree limb. Hey, looks better on the branch than on me! No fair.

I've stayed at the Roosevelt in NOLA several times, and I always think of the guy at the shoeshine station in the lobby, yelling, "shine 'em up!" as I walk by.

You ain't had a shine until you've met the ladies at IAH!

Settled in on the veranda for the evening still wearing the Campdraft, lighting a pipe gifted to me by a fellow Lounger who had given it up. Got some White whiskey on the table next to me waiting until dinner settles a bit.

Had another two hat day. Dobbs hommy and a weird but cool tux. And a Telecaster that isn't mine.

I was once famous for smoking those things myself, back before I started wearing hats. When I developed a throat infection in China a few years back, the Chinese doctor told me I had better stop smoking. Well, when a doctor in China tells you to stop smoking, I reckon you better listen. So I gave up the tobacco, grew my hair out and bought my first Akubra. True story.
