I bought my first "nice", to me, shoes yesterday 
I wanted a pair of Allen Edmonds but Florsheim is having a sale, buy one pair and get the second for 50% off. I couldn't resist I got the Kenmore in tan/brown. My second pair is also the Kenmore but in black with the smooth finish. So far so good! My feet are not crying and I hope they don't Here's a fresh shoe shot from a few minutes ago

I'm surprised to see the Kenmore in tan grain. I was looking for them a short time ago and there seemed to be a shortage at the factory. I'll never understand why Florsheim, with one of the most solid reputations on the market, hasn't given itself an upgrade with more leather soles and Goodyear welts. Reading the reviews, it seems you were lucky to find them in your size. I do see a few more leather soles than there used to be, but it's unclear if they're resoleable. This is one company I'd really like to see make a major come-back: with a bit of effort and a good ad campaign, I don't see why they couldn't.I bought my first "nice", to me, shoes yesterday

When I was scanning the Florsheim site I noticed they're having a 125th anniversary celebration, part of which are some styles dating from 1907. One such style is a two-tone lace-up boot in silver and black that looks a bit like boots and spats. They're also Goodyear-welted Horween Chromexcel and resoleable.

Arrived yesterday just in time for fall, suede moccasinsl from Quoddy:
I didn't know these were tough to find. I bought these because of the leather soles. I didn't want dress shoes with rubber soles.
Recent acquisition, some issues from not being conditioned properly in the past, but still good enough to deserve a new set of soles.
I think I'll install some black eyelets in the lace holes to prevent more splitting.

Here is a pair that haven't arrived yet but they've been gradually coming down in price on eBay to a point where I could no longer make good decisions.
Florsheim Imperial in bison. Kind of an unusual design but I like it. Especially the grain on the leather.

I would think you could find them doing a little bit of searching online, perhaps even on eBay...
You got a great shoe there, do not see Florsheims with that leather much.The bison Florsheim Royal Imperials arrived and they much better than I expected.

How do you like them after wearing for a long time period in a day? I ask as some times the soft bottom shoes will start to hurt.

I have flat feet and put Dr. Scholl's arch inserts in almost all of my shoes (one of the few times in my life where a health issue was solved so simply and inexpensively). With them in, these shoes have been incredibly comfortable. I've walked, literally, over six miles in a day in the city in them without an issue.
For full disclosure, I am more comfortable in a less structured shoe than say an Alden blutcher. I love my Alden's and dress shoes / boots in general, but find the rigid structure tires my feet out if I walk for long periods of time in them - whereas, a boat shoe, moccasin or desert boot (with a arch insert) is something I can walk in all day without an issue.
I've enjoyed the Quoddy's in question so much, I just ordered a second pair to keep in reserve.
Wow that is good for your comfort. Shoes make a big difference in foot care. Daniel always tells me his "real shoes", (leather soles, padded and fully lined shoes) are the most comfortable for him to wear for long time periods. He has several pairs of deck/boat shoes Cole Hann resort model, full leather but a man made sole. He likes how they are comfortable.
