Today it’s a late start. Cars, babies, etc.
Here’s The Sovereign Stetson Open Road Twenty. A dandy old hat. Very nice felt, very obedient crown and pretty good condition. 2 7/8” brim that snaps and stays.
Again the thanks for recent kind words.
Be well. Bowen
I dig the color and brim lines. Very nice.

Spiffy derby Red. I like that shirt too. Hope it stayed on your head in the wind.

Michael
The shirt is a nice warm $10 Costco special. Should have bought a couple. Since I had Mike Miller work on the sweat and liner of this Derby, it fits like my customs. Luckily, I missed the 50mph gusts, that is going on outside right now.

Figures. The pinches on my hats always migrate to the left. o_O
I have read about over the eye pinches here on the lounge somewhere. I think it was a 1930s style. My Slats Gill custom has been creased this way to match a 1934 image of the coach.

That's a beauty Wyld. Should re-crease pretty easily. I think it was @Hurricane Jack who said that after he opens the crown he puts the hat on and puts a match in the ribbon to mark the center of the pinch and builds the crease from that point. I found that helpful. Or maybe that was @BobHufford.

T'was not me ... and I have the off-center creases to prove it. :D

Finally found my 1st Vintage Borsalino. Surprisingly, I messaged the etsy seller with a price $90 lower than what was listed and they accepted it. Seems to be in excellent condition. Now just need to watch those "how to shape your borsalino" videos on youtube as the current bash is a bit crooked.

Congratulations on that super find. 'Tis a really lovely hat. I can't wait to see it when you get the crease just the way you want it.

I also recall mention of some funny shaped creases going along with those off center pinches. “S” shaped for lack of better terminology. Which i found interesting.
