Not a bad idea... I should do the same. He would get the colour right (I do have one on the way and more that I want to do... it never ends
)Almost everything, black and brown work.
Blue in a different shade is a good option.
Burgundy as well... and if you're feeling adventurous red or even green.
Let's not forget gray.
I can't really think of a colour that wouldn't work...

Anything that you'd wear with denim as per above suggestion is good. I'd only be wary of navy in case it got too matchy-costumey.

In what sense? You don't like the jacket? I think the jacket looks great in isolation, though the photo with, what four inches of midriff between jeans waistband and jacket hem does not, in my opinion, show it off to its best. Granted, Joey Ramone used to wear his jackets like that, but only before he could afford something custom made long enough for his 6'6" frame!

For me, it's the middle section. This guy is probably in much better shape than me, but he looks to have a huge gut in this jacket...not so flattering.
