Being out west in the USA must have put a little cowboy into you! Nice beard Christophe. Beautiful lines on that Borsalino.

It may well be! Will see how the bears thing works out, was a little surprised at the amount of white ... I was tempted to get a Western, but there is just no way to make that work (especially being part Japanese) in the U.K. or even London (which is cosmopolitan but not the more open forms of New York or Berlin)!

Week-end Wormser with a shirt I picked up in Eagle Nest, NM a couple of years ago.

This hat was sitting next to my door ready to be donated but I turned it around into a "love". It comes with a really weird bend to the brim reminiscent of a hawk's beak but the rougher I got with the brim the more is morphed into something I liked.

Every hat has its' own personality you just need to keep looking for it.

Beautiful, Steve. Sweatbands don't last forever and the replacement is well done. What colour is this one?
Stefan, Thanks! The paper label is missing so I don't know the color. Not sure if that happened at Optimo Chicago but I don't have a prior photo. Optimo Chicago only works on their hats now. They could be heavy handed (wanting to replace more than requested) but for me they always did a very good job (and not a long turn around). Here are photos of the old sweatband. It was very dried out and just shriveled up when I was wearing it.

Wearing another of my conversions today. I just completed this Stagecoach. It's another of my brushed finish longhairs. It has my usual tall straight crown with an 1 5/8 contrasting ribbon and a 2 3/4 snap brim. I'll have more pictures in the Conversion Corral tomorrow. It was cool and damp enough this morning for my leather jacket....

Today it’s a hat for a friend to see, et al.
Borsalino Nutria 2X Featherweight. Some of the nicest lightest most obedient felt i’ve felt, bar none.
Who says you can’t wear brown with a fine WV tux!
More detail posted in the Borsa Brotherhood thread.
Be well. Bowen

Is that where you are, West by God? What part?

Verdad. We can all talk about hats and clothes and what not until we're out of breath, but it's the people who make The Lounge what it is.

@drmaxtejeda, I'm so pleased to hear Ana's surgery was successful. Prayers, and positive thoughts and energy, for her to have a complete recovery with as little discomfort as possible.
Thank you, Z! I love the Lounge for the same reason. The hats are a beautiful theme, but it is chatting and seeing you guys that I like the most. And if I'm accused of making the Lounge too Facebook-like, so be it. I like it like this.
