Greetings All:
Today it’s one of my favorite Borsalinos. I love the classic look of a grey hat with a wide black ribbon but i never feel comfortable with the high contrast.
This one is a treat to play with. It’s felt is so thin and obedient it all but creases just by blowing on it. Borsa kicked out a good one with this fellow.
Palladio C. Nero Gorasgu.
Not sure of age.
Be well. Bowen

Weather is cooling down, and I'm looking forward to felt weather, but I know I'll miss this NW Hats fine weave Cuenca when it's put away for the rainy season.

Somewhere I read what Gorasgu means...have to look that up. This is one sweet Borsalino Bowen, love the color.

Light grey Beaver Creek Hat Co in erm, beaver felt. It had a cattleman crease but switched to centre dent, although not sure about that.

I confess that I had some buyers remorse when I bought this in the shop on holiday as I should have spent the money on one of the many fine hatters here.

I like it. Looks like cool brim stitching. Nice finish.

It is like saying goodbye to your summer camp girlfriend! There are plenty of new loves to replace her for the winter months though. This is a stellar Cuenca.

Pleasant day for felt. Finally! Dobbs Twenty was the choice. It’s one of my knock-abouts that I enjoy wearing quite a bit lately.

Super Dobbs! Great color and lines. Guild edge?

Now I’m just being silly.

Good to see you Harv! I like the dark thin ribbon on that light straw. Cool contrast, impressive.
