Very, very nice!

I love how Greg manages to develop a "FL signature look" in all his jackets, despite their inherent differences. This is one of his masterpieces!
Since it has been mentioned: I like the ball-and-chain-zipper. It does draw the eyes to it a bit, but I feel a little but of "artistic unbalancing" just makes the jacket more interesting.

Note to myself: I do NOT (notnot) need a third FL jacket...!!

Thank you kindly for that! I'm so happy with this, it fits snug but I can still lightly layer. My first jacket with him is super trim so this is a welcome change.

The zipper pull is not too extra, it's just the right length. Interesting is always good in my book.

Yes give it a few months lol let's wait and see how the oil tanned shinki jackets will look first!

I very interested to see how Greg interprets the j24 and how his style will look on the classic jacket.
The luftwaffe is a nice style, I do like the Hartman from Eastman. Will you be including the buckle that they usually include?
It’s always the safe bet to go with a simple and clean design as it hasn’t gone out of style up to this point and probably won’t. But I think it’s a good idea to have at least one “crazy” jacket, that’s a little outside of the norm.
I actually used to be really in black clothing but as I moved towards heritage style clothing I pretty much only wear browns for the most part.

He has already done a lot of the j24. A couple of members have a heavily modified version of his D pocket but I don't believe we have seen a standard pattern yet.
I'll keep true to his design as well just to keep it simple and easy for Greg to make since he does not have to do another pattern.

I do think the Luftwaffe is very classic, it looks very clean even with all the pockets and zippers. Pity the Eastman stock jacket is much too long for me, if it was close to my preferred back length I would have ordered from Eastman directly but it is 1.5" too long for it to look good on me. I have to check in with JL to see if they were able to find a buckle, if not they will just use a snap button.

That clean and classic look is what I'm going for so the investment on the jacket will be worth it. I don't think I have a crazy looking jacket "yet" but I do have quirky features on some that I request on purpose just for fun.

I did not realize initially that his Manhattan was a j24, I guess I wasn’t paying enough attention. What liner did you opt for? I do like the navy quilted rayon he offers standard on the Manhattan.

That’s understandable, going a little crazy could backfire and lead to a seldom worn jacket. I think my “crazy” would probably a jacket in some sort of green or olive colored leather. A little out there but nothing that couldn’t be worn regularly

Aero Cafe Racer in FQHH CXL Blue. This is really starting to break in nice. 2nd pic is closer to the color.

Levis Buffalo Trucker. I took some sand paper to some of the edges to help speed along the break in. Glad I did because it gave me hope the leather will evolve. I was worried it was a little too much glossy top coat that was going to be dyed through, but underneath it's this subdued blueish/greyish black. I also gave it about 5 washes in the laundry and extreme dryer for several hours and got it to shrink a lot. Looking back I needed a medium instead of a large, but in some ways it's good I did it this way as I'm presuming I "thickened" up the leather some by making it denser with all the shrinking. If I had to guess, I think I reduced it at least 15%.

I have the same jacket. Love it. You’re brave to put that jacket thru the laundry. I’d be afraid of ruining it.

That's a very cool look. Your trucker goes great with the truck :)

If I remember correctly, you also have a very nice Thedi D pocket. It would be great if you could share some more pics of the Thedi. I don't believe any other TFL member owns that particular model.

@HoosierDaddy started a Thedi repository.

I see your trucker is also their first gen with the buttons. Thanks for the Thedi link, I’ll have to dive in and check out the other Thedi jackets. With my Thedi the leather is super thick. If I had to do it again, I would ordered a thinner leather. It’s taken me years to break it in.

Fits you well!

Thank you! Right back at you with that trucker, that's a great looking/fitting trucker! Just the right slim fitting look.

thanks man! I saw that u got urself a new jacket. Nice fit

Thanks man, i did and love how this turned out.

I did not realize initially that his Manhattan was a j24, I guess I wasn’t paying enough attention. What liner did you opt for? I do like the navy quilted rayon he offers standard on the Manhattan.

Yes, I'm not familiar with the buco brand but the j24 pattern he makes looks good to me. I still haven't talked to Greg about the details for the j24, also I'm still undecided regarding the lining at this time. The navy quilted rayon is intriguing to me, I have never had that in a jacket before. It might be too warm where I live so I have to be sure on it

My quirky is wide tipped collars and vertical chest pocket placement, so long as the fit is great I can still wear those jackets just fine. That's true but I think a green jacket is not too bad too but it depends on the shade for sure lol i really love the olive badalassi with black overdye boot that I have and the waxed olive rough out wescos look cool too.

I've totally abused it and it's as strong as ever. I'd be careful on some kind of machines like the ones with the middle agitator because things get tangled in those. And you just need to check it in the dryer every 10 mins or so. But these jackets are built stronger than we think they are. Just remember to dry them thoroughly and if they went through a long dryer session and lots of soap, I'd put some conditioner on them afterwards.
