that's awesome. well done. Maybe it's just me, but the dangle stuff from the chest pocket kind of "unbalances" everything. Eyes go right to it. Being super nit picky here I know. Easily fixable I guess by tucking it in. Or not. It's your jacket LOL, wear it how you want.

I hear you, I used to dislike the ball and chain zipper pull design but I've grown to like them over time. The length of the pull here is so much shorter than the one with the FW Mulholland or the Aero Premier highwayman so it doesn't bother me so much. I do tuck the pull sometimes especially when there is a chance of them being caught on something

Perfect fit! Well done!

Thanks man, this fits great (I can wear a sweater/hoodie if I need to). I can't wait for it to relax some more and break in properly. I noticed as much as i am into brown shades I think black jackets work best for me.

This year in Russia the winter is harsh, there is a lot of snow, -26 ° today. I put on a leather jacket to remember how it is :D

I'm a philistine, that's why I didn't even notice ;). I do not think it's bad.

Ben Sherman leather jacket at Alkimos beach.jpg

Ben Sherman "Biker jacket" on it's second day out to the beach. A humid day with a relatively cool early seabreeze.
My wife remarks "Why are you wearing that scruffy jacket ( false distressing!) and not one of the others" haha..
I may actually have a go at "reversing" the distressing on this jacket. Can't hurt it I reckon.
Had brunch with my wife at the café at Alkimos beach this morning 40 K's north of us. Was "remote" until 10 years ago.
Bitumen all the way now due to housing development and "coastal sprawl".
The Alkimos was originally a WW2 US built Liberty ship that saw extensive action before being renamed the Alkimos as a Greek freighter.
It was pushed onto the reef then shore in 1963 by a cyclone.
Proved too hard to refloat so gradually decayed away in a constant seabreeze and subsequent storms.
A generation of west Australians could have a 4WD or sandy scramble journey to it and climb up it from the sand
All you can see now above the water is a tiny bit of superstructure in the backdrop. You can also see the offending reef !
The bulk under the water can still be snorkelled but I have never felt "brave" enough.
Our Perth WA metro area "lockdown Lite" is now over ( hopefully NOT temporarily !) so we can do this kind of thing.
Still moderately difficult to travel interstate or abroad and return so I won't be bothering again for donkeys !

You know I loved how this jacket looked when Greg finished the jacket, but it looks even better worn. The fit was nailed perfectly and you wear it so well. I would eventually like to add a black leather jacket to my collection. Regarding the ball and chain zip, I think it complements it quite well and gives the jacket some flair

Man, this thing looks spectacular. Even though it's a mash-up of styles it looks totally in harmony. It's a work of art. This is one of the best FL jackets I've seen so far. Congrats!

Thanks man, I do like the ball and chain and I'm sure I'll use it for future projects as well.

I did notice here and the Instagram post he made. I appreciate all the kind words, I really do. Agreed, you will have 2 medium browns and it will be nice to have a black one for variety. I can't wait to see what you decide to go for, I'm sure it will be a great choice whatever it will be. I love me some ball and chain zipper pulls, plus the stock diamond pull might be too tiny for this design.

Thanks man, I appreciate it. It has to have a little quirk to it and Greg as usual delivered a knockout in terms of construction and design. It's just fun doing a project with him as you know and this jacket is indeed fun to wear. Hope you get your brown oiled project soon. Very excited and interested with that.

No problem, I really like the jackets you come up with. This jacket is great and look forward to your next FL and other future projects. I think since you figured out what you want and how you want it to wear it definitely helps how the end product looks like. I must commend you on remembering what jackets people have and the ones they have coming in. I feel like I can only remember a couple and forget the rest. I’m eagerly waiting for my other Himel to come in and wearing my Canuck as much as I can. I probably won’t be adding any jackets for while just so I can give the new ones some real wear. But eventually I would like to add another jacket or two of which one of them needs to be a black just to diversify the collection. The ball and chain was 100% the right call for this one and I generally prefer it to diamond pull (especially for a chest zip)
