Looks cool. How is the mobility?
Thanks @Bfd70 , its very good. I can only compare it to a few makers due to my limited jacket experience but all my JL jacket seems to have no tightness with forward/over head reach even when using 3.5oz cxl. I'd say mobility is slightly better than my FW Mulholland and not tight like some Aero/FL patterns. Can't wait to compare it with my upcoming Thedi.

This jacket is superb! Might be my favorite among your impressive stable. Everything looks just right.
Thanks @ton312 the leather is perfect for my local climate and JL did a splendid job with the custom. Seems like the 3-4th custom is where it finally all comes together lol

Got this back late last night and couldn't wait to start wearing again.. Shout out to Dena @iknowleather for getting this thedi back in action. I busted the riri zipper that was on there. Never felt quite right and didn't take many wears for the pin to finally snap.

Besides the flawless workmanship in matching stitch holes, etc. She suggested a zipper that I think improves the overall look. The new install also flattened out some of the waves that were there from the usual thedi wash and wax. Just great all around. Wish I had a really clean before and after, but just to give you an idea.

I know, right.

It felt like there was too much pull on the bottom part of the tape. So the slider was almost at a 45 degree angle instead of laying at a 12 o'clock position. In order to get the pin in, you had to bend the male pin into the slider,, get it down all the way through and then zip before it came undone. The tight welt didn't help either.

After I would say about 50 uses, the pin literally snapped length wise. It wasn't the usual fraying type issue.

I never handled a riri before, so not sure if maybe I was doing something wrong. But it felt more like an installation error than design. But I could be wrong.

Today...having seen a bunch of Cal posts today i recall dear Mom’s words asking “If everybody jumped of a cliff would you follow”? Sorry Mom but with Cal’s i gotta go.
Might as well start the season on the Cal train. Sometimes hard to fit but perfection when done right.
Be well and safe.

One of my favorite vintage Police jackets. I'm not a big fan of side laces which most of them seem to have. This one fits the slot perfect.

This is one of the heaviest vintage leather jackets I have encountered. This is also the best fitting straight zip Police jacket I have owned. I will keep this one and call myself satisfied.
