I reckon Colimbo is not as well known in US and EU as Freewheelers, and probabaly even less known is that Both owners of Colimb and FW were core members of designer teams in early period of Real Mccoy. Colimbo's offering ranges from vintage military, work, to outdoor or tactical apparels & gears. The craftsmanship and attention to the detail and design are among the same league of Real Mccoy, Toys Mccoy, Freewheelers, etc...
This jacket is called ALIESKA PIPE-LINER Parka, according to japanese description. It is based on a vintage jacket for military pipeline workers for cold and harsh outdoor environment. Outer shell is japanese made cotton jungle cloth, Alpaca lining throughout body, hood, and sleeves. beautiful repro 40s style Talon zipper. leather throat latch and details. duffle type button and zip closure. in contrast to common japanese sizing, It runs larger, more "American" with room for layering, in stead of slimmer, narrower "Japanese" in terms of sizing , if you see what I mean.
Condition is like new. One time use. No color fading, rip, tear or odor.
