Coronado Bison jacket

Couldn’t find much about Coronado leather. I saw on their site that they were doing a presale on a bison leather jacket. Ive been really wanting to get one so I’m ordering one up . Supposed to arrive late December and I will give my opinion when it shows up.

Received my bison jacket today from Coronado. I have to say it’s pretty nice! I have a couple of Schott bison jackets and the Coronado might be my favourite. The fit was perfect, construction appears flawless, beautiful heavy grain ! I have zero complaints and they have my two thumbs up.

Fit was perfect. I’m 5’10 195 and I like my jackets in a relaxed fit so I ordered a 46.

I ask as some time back I tried a Bison jacket and found the leather to be an "acquired taste". I did not acquire the taste for it and moved it along. I hope this Coronado jacket works out well for you and that you enjoy it for the long-term!

Still pretty substantial weight. Looks like a very nice jacket at a good price.

I like the heavy grain. My Schott 545’s have a similar grain but knocked down. Not so prominent. The leather has a nice feel to it and it’s definitely heavier leather/stiffer than any of my other jackets. It’s going to take a while to break in I suspect . Looking forward to seeing how it softens up. I know what you mean about an acquired taste.

might have to hit that lower band with a little wax to blend it in better. Not really noticeable in the real world
