Thanks. It fits like a CHP jacket's flying cousin, instead of leather cuffs and bottom band this one got knits. Same sizing as the CHP jackets, nice comfortable sleeves too.

I know I’ve been beating a dead (suede) horse with this one. Just came back from my tailor, had 2.5” cut off. Turned out perfect! This is a size 46” vs the size 40” that Hannes will soon have. My wife absolutely loathes it. But it’s actually probably my favorite piece right now.

Saddle mtn always reminds me of Carter Gable local cowboy-farmer amigo who passed a few years ago in his 90s. As a 19 year old flew an AT-6 thru the saddle upside down while in training at nearby Luke field.
I consider myself extremely fortunate to have been able to grow up around the men and women of that generation. Carter wore perfectly starched, pressed jeans and pearl snap shirts everyday and was still saddling and riding in his 90s. We’ll likely not ever see the likes of that generation again.

Fixed that for you!
Another stand out from your extensive suede collection. It appears as those the chest pockets are smilng just a bit. Maybe you could find some red felt and cut out a couple of pieces shaped like a tongue and insert them in the pocket openings - just for fun of course!
