This short aviator cross zip style has been my favorite jacket style for the last 7 years- well before I got into vintage. To have something like this feels really nice.

Perfect fit, as good as any you have. Love everything about this jacket. I know this is a style you’ve wanted for a while. Really glad you got it!

I love that jacket and how it fits on you! Congratulations on yet another great vintage find :)
Thanks! Yeah I'm thrilled with the fit overall.
That looks absolutely superb!

It couldn't fit you any better and the style is timeless and wonderful.

What a thing!
Thanks! This is exactly the style and fit I was going for!
Cool vintage jacket. It fits perfectly!
Thank you!

Yeah it just has a bit of room at the bottom, but otherwise it's absolutely perfect. Thanks again for the assist! It's very satisfying to finally have something like this.

This fits you beautifully! I know the outlay was huge for it but I would take the final step and replace the tattered lining. I’m baffled by the sky high prices these jackets are commanding these days. I saw a very similar style (MW) on Etsy in 2016, mint condition for less than a quarter of the cost. I guess inflation is hitting this hobby too. Either way this jacket is a lifer so you may as well take it all the way home.

I think I’ve invested as much time and effort as I am going to in refreshing this battered 60s Montgomery Ward. I’ve conditioned it, fixed a belt loop and a zipper pull and de-harleyed it. Replacing the main or sleeve zip would be more than the jacket is worth, but I think it’s a lot of fun as is!

Thanks! Yeah it wasn't cheap, although I was able to contact the seller directly and get a better deal than the listed price.

I agree the jacket is nice enough to make the lining perfect. I'm not sure if I want to just have it repaired or replaced? It's actually not in bad condition, it's just come loose in some places from what I can see. What I really want is a replacement label for it...

Maybe the last time I can wear it here in East Texas until late october, but heres a little pre loved jacket I picked up cheap due to a broken zipper. Fortunately I work with leather so I partially disassembeled, and sewed in a new brass zipper. Now I can zip it up! I just had to wear it out for a test
