This is a reluctant sale as I love this jacket!! So much that I had a custom mouton collar made for it!

Vanson's early horsehide jackets are, in my opinion, collector's items. No longer available hefty horsehide with oily texture.

This HH Enfield also comes with very nice brass Riri hardware. Note the bottom of the front zipper is covered in platic protector - making it practically unbreakable. Leather lined handwarmer pockets. Double inside pockets.

I just got a LW Trojan and agree. Those jackets aren't meant to be worn sparingly.

Just planting a seed - I think this will fit you very well give you’re after a size 42-44. The side adjusters are very accommodating - for winter layering I have the adjusters in the middle holes and still it gives me a trimmed /flattery waistline look. It’s based on a well tested pattern.

Take a look at all the pockets - 2 inner pockets, 1 outside chest pocket, and 2 hand warmer pockets that are fully lined with the same thick HH leather - probably why the side panels where the hand warmers are are still not broke in after 20-30 years!

You know that feeling you’d get when you have sold a jacket that you’d really regret later on? Well I don’t want to end up there!

It’s easy to part with a winter jacket in summer which make it looks even more undesirable. But comes winter and I know I’d miss that fluffy mouton collar on this Vanson pattern that just fits me.
