GORGEOUS LOST WORLDS EASY RYDER JACKET!

Featuring a rare slanting chest pocket, gorgeous graining, and NOS US-made Talon zippers!​

Tagged 40. Measurements:

Chest: 21 1/2 (zipped; armpit to armpit)
Sleeve: 24 (straight down from shoulder to cuff)
Sleeve: 25.5 (around the curve of the sleeve)
Shoulder: 19
Length: 24 1/8 (measured from the bottom of the collar to the hem, down the center back)
Hem: 20, Measured seam to seam at the front, zipped.

SIMPLY GORGEOUS.

The Easy Ryder jacket by Lost Worlds is modelled on a 1930s - 1940s motorcycle jacket, with a rear protective lower panel at the back and a tucked rear waist. It has a bi-swing back for ease of movement.

This Easy Ryder features a slanted zippered chest pocket *rarer and far cooler than the usual horizontal pocket of most Ryders) two deep slash zippered side pockets, and (of course!) zippered sleeves. It also has two fully functional lower waist adjusters.

Since this is a genuine motorcycle jacket (i.e., one heavy enough for you to ride in and be protected) the sleeves zip to a close fit when done up, to avoid billowing or drafts at speed.

It is fully lined in pure black nylon flight satin, and the pockets are lined in cotton duck.
It is made from heavy black chrome-tanned 3.5oz horsehide that will soak up anything you can throw at it for decades, only getting better with wear.

All of the zippers are NOS Talon bell-shape zippers, made in the USA. They move nice and smoothly.

The jacket features a windflap under the main zipper, and a cafe racer-style collar with a functional throat latch. It also has a deep interior pocket.

As with all Lost Worlds jackets, this was made in Stu's New York City workshop.

This jacket has developed some ABSOLUTELY GORGEOUS graining--see the pictures with the American flag for details! (CREDIT: eyeswildshot.) It has a touch of verdigris on the throat studs--leave it as patina, or spend a couple of minuts cleaning it off with a dry Q-tip!

Overall, this is is EXCELLENT condition! A new Lost Worlds Easy Ryder is $1,750... plus shipping.

I'm asking just $700, or offer, boxed, shipped, and insured in the USA--which is what I paid for it!

I'd also be interested in trades for Lost Worlds jackets in black, sizes 42 or 44, depending on model.

I’m standard size 40. I’d say this fits comfortably 41 or a trim 42. I do like a really snug fit just over a tank top.

If you need a practical cafe racer, it's hard to do much better.

I have the exact same jacket, also in 40, only in brown. The stitching is immaculate.

It may just be me - tall and lanky all that - and despite all the effort doing bench presses - I struggle to eat enough protein to grow my chest and arms without bulging my waistline (which is an enviable size 31 lol !

This jacket would be a good fit for someone more on the stocky side!!

I’ll most likely go with a JL order - their stock size 40 CR pattern just fits me so well. Will be going for 6oz CXL as a killer jacket!

Yes same jacket. I opened the package it arrived in and repackaged it already without taking any pics. Plenty of pics provided by eyeswildshot and tweedy above!

Tweedy’s measurments are accurate I double checked with my measuring tape. Still it’s a tad too big for me.

It feels as big as my Vanson Enfield 42 - if that helps!

For a visual reference - this is me fitting perfectly into a stock size 40 aero KotR which is not their trim pattern (vs J-106).

I feel this LW jacket is just a tad too loose than my liking.

I’ve done a lot of research and believe I need a size 38 for this cut/pattern for that trim fitting look!

Yes, it is. The measurements were off in the original listing; if it had a 23" chest there's no way I would have parted with it!

If ordering from LW new it will cost $1750 or £1300, plus customs charges if shipping to outside US - so total cost likely around £1500 for someone in UK.

This is in a desirable size 42. VS a bunch of 34-36 sizes on eBay.
