Incredible! Everything, the jacket, the fit, the outfit, the interior, the log on the table.
TFL should do top 5-10 threads of the year.
This would be close to the top.
Also - holy mother of front drops!

Nice review! I’m a huge fan of the Glory Days model, which only has 2 front pockets but has the sunshine back. Bonus point for the insanely grainy buffalo hide.

Their sizing is super weird though, tag size 42 has a 53cm (20.7in) p2p and 45cm (17.7in) shoulder. Too bad their sleeve length 65cm (25.6in) would be 1.5in too long for me. If I am lucky enough to find one in my size, I’d have to have 1.5in from the sleeve chopped off.

I’m generally not a fan of the EWMI style, but the shrunken bison grains look cool. I’m not a fan of the big collar either, I would alter it if I could.

I initially thought the Glory Days style was original, but then I found this cheap Japanese 1990s style, which is exactly like Naked Sun’s Glory Days but with the zippers on the sleeves.

The wide collars are such a turnoff. And the tubular body isn’t helpful either, the sausage fit is just weird. I bet the hipsters back then didn’t eat much to fit these jackets.

Check out the gnarly grains of this 1970s EWMI. Who needs to buy shrunken bison repro if vintage can deliver.

This hipster looks tall and vegan, prob wears a size 26 jeans, and often goes on long fast. Otherwise, how does he look lanky like that? Definitely not a typical American body size that partakes in fast foods several times a week.

My gripe with these vintage EWMI jackets is that they appear so low quality compared to earlier vintage (1950s or earlier) and repros. Their leather looks so thin and cheap, and their buttons look like they are made of cheap materials.

If you don’t like wide collars anything from the 60’s and 70’s outside the banal m/c styles is out. The leather on the E/W jackets I’ve handled is easily as nice as anything from the 40’s or 50’s. Nicer in fact.
I think E/W jackets are harder to pull off. You can’t half *** it like you can a half belt or even a cross zip. You also have to be small. This is a 46” E/W cowboy shirt and it fits like a 40”. I don’t eat fast food.

This jacket looks sick! Especially love the gradient sleeves. I really want one of these or the bull hide jacket Y'2 made a while back, though I love pockets so would have to lean towards the Naked Sun if both of them were available.
