Nooooo. That bellboy’s wearing a more standard double breasted jacket where the leather togs is reminiscent of something masculine and medieval. Let’s cleanse our palettes of that nasty bell boy reference!

That’s iron rivets on a medieval wooden door, how do I associate that with the leathertogs B? It’s not like he’s dragging the door around like a shield when he wears a leather jacket.

It’s what those big oversized snap heads are supposed to invoke a mental image of. Old school armor, resolute defense, sturdiness, aggression on tap and all things studly!

Nice attempt. Those big oversized snap heads are used for a stronger hold, where small snaps couldn’t suffice. That invokes a mental image of industrial work, warehouse workers, blue-collar workers, the lower-class. If anything, that’s association with being poor, not necessarily rugged like a bearded lumberjack. I still fail to see anything badass about it.

I used to think so too, but I have changed my mind because (1) it has an association with the bell-boy look, (2) which has softened the badass look because the fit usually isn’t on point. In contrast, D pocket crosszip is effortless cool, when it fits.

I’m gonna conduct a social experiment.

I’ll stand outside The Plaza (iconic hotel by Central Park NYC) in my Leathertogs B. Let’s see how many people feel like leaving their luggage in my hands.

Sacrilege! No one would design a jacket to invoke a mental image of a receiving clerk! No Sir, that jacket is 100% studly, top drawer, and if you've ever attempted to buy one, spendy. The guy on the fork wishes he were as lionized as whomever the Leather Togs B had been modeled after. Couldn't stand in his shadow though.

LOL. That’s a mighty nice compliment Tom. But I bet I can change your mind with a single image

I only post the stuff I think won’t get me laughed the F outta here. But most times I do run around looking like some bootleg Poncho Villa.

This looks just like the recently sold “beautiful” “grail” Samurai flannel. “Work of art”, he claimed.
