Are those sleeves as wide as they look, or is that a trick of the photo? They look like pant legs

That jacket is fresh! Looks incredible!! What are your impressions of the Shinki leather ?
I really like the leather but at this point if it’s shinki or cxl or bison or Vicenza or badalassi or any other leather if they nail the pattern the.n that’s what really makes it shine I’m truly impressed by Johnson’s work I love Schott and aero also but Jl just makes anything I can think of and to my specs but if I had a shot answer for you I would say everyone should have one in the collection

That’s actually a great way to look at it. Your collection has inspired me so I wouldn’t be surprised if someday I end up with a JL!

JL has really good pattern on any design, plus they can do well with MTM.

They typically have a muslin mockup so that you can try on and adjust anything as needed. Either this process, they 99.99% nail on the fit part of the jacket.

Bought this one used from eBay USA, and it just got back to its roots in France ! It's a Lee Trevor 101J. Broad and short as it should be. The threads written by tmitchell59, Monitor and Guppy helped me a lot to get an insight of the measurements beforehand, as I had the feeling it had not been done right by the seller. Leather is not as thick and sturdy as I expected it to be, but the last leather jacket I bought was a CXSH from Aero, so everything is relative... Really enjoy this one, though !

The jacket looks fantastic on you.

It has so much characters to it on the sleeves and overall.

How’s the condition on the back and top shoulders?

Thanks !
The back panel actually looks a bit "off" as it's the only panel that doesn't seem to have been artificially aged. It's not in very good condition, I could see that by checking the stitching here and there.
