This thread is torture the last several weeks… so jealous to see others with weather conditions allowing for any kind of long sleeves! Midwest US temps are brutal right now.
If it makes you feel any better, it's the same for me here in SE US and I'm struggling just like you. I can't say this enough, I am SO ready for winter to be here.

I've never heard of Brave star before today, and I saw like 4 things I want from them after checking the out just now. So thank you for putting me on!
No problem brother Rock on I just recommend one thing if you are getting any of there jeans length wise they only really come in one size so they have a chain stitch option it’s a few bucks more and they alter the jeans to your length but brother let me tell you they have some beautiful denim in all sorts oz and I’ve spent lots of money on other denim and brave star blows them out in quality and in how they fade here are some brave stars in cone mill denim 10 oz and another is 17 oz

Just finished this sewing project to alter a 1950s vintage Swedish goatskin jacket gifted from @Herrvallmo (I hope you don't mind man :D )

It fit decently but now that I had a better understanding of my measurements, I decided to take the plunge and have my first experience sewing leather. This was a thin hide so I got the job done with my walking foot, leather needle, and my little sewing machine that could.

Used the excess parts to cut a leather tab and also panels to cover the former pockets when I shortened the length a bit. Also put a dark brown cotton lining since this was initially unlined. Happy with the results :)

As many of us on FL already know, Iron Heart undoubtedly makes the nicest trucker jackets. Did you know their “modified” version is little bit longer in body length and has hand warmer pockets. They also make a shorter traditional cut, just like the original Levi’s -minus the hand warmer pockets.
