Older Langlitz Columbia that's seen quite a bit of use. No odors, clean, and with a brand-new Talon #10 zipper installed at Langlitz. Langlitz also reinforced the area on the chest of this jacket as well as the LH sleeve elbow, where this jacket had some road rash occur. They did not want to cover over these areas on the front. I'll leave that up to new owner to decide if they want to try something to cover the prior damage. Also, there is a bit of flaking of the leather around the collar. Pricing and the photos both reflect these realities.
Get past those pieces of character, and you have one of the most comfortable, well-broken in jackets you may ever wear. This is a solid mid-weight leather jacket, coming in just under 6.0 pounds. This Columbia shows how older Langlitz leather can nearly rival Vanson's Comp-Weight Cowhide when it is fully broken in. You barely realize it is on you. The pattern is very flexible, and the Cowhide always works with you. Lining is in good condition, with just a little bit of pilling noted, no tears or rips. All pockets are solid & intact as well. Has the leather lined *** pocket with snap closure as well.
Asking $350 Shipped CONUS PayPal for payment ($350 Net to me)
This jacket is a Pre-1984 model - the tag does not the have "USA" designation. It also was a stock jacket and sized as "44XXLL" That said, this jacket fits closer today to a "42" so please see the measurements below and in photos. It's just a bit too short for me in the front, not uncommon with this design.
Pit to Pit - 22.5"
Shoulder - 19.5"
Sleeve - 25"
Back - 27"
Waist - 19.5 adjustable
Torso - 23.25
