Got a new Schott Buffalo Leather jacket and it’s cracking?

I got this jacket from Nordstrom a little over a month ago, and there are cracks in the leather around the wrist. I am not sure if this is normal for this type of leather (Buffalo) I am not an expert on leather or different types, so here I am.

I was considering trying a leather conditioner in the meantime. What do you guys think?

It doesn’t look like cracking. There is a sticky rubber like layer on the buffalo leather that makes it visually inconsistent and sometimes heavily creased. Since you made the purchase from Nordstrom, they have unlimited return policy if I remembered correctly. so you can return it if you don’t like the feeling of buffalo no matter how long time passed as long as it’s in the same status as when you purchased it.
