I have made more than 20 posts but my sale posts keep getting taken down. Please help.
How much time has to elapse between my first post and my twentieth post for me to post a product for sale in classifieds? The requirement is 20 posts in OPEN FORUMS, not 20 posts in classifieds in fifteen minutes.
If you’re asking these type of questions you’re clearly only interested in selling and not contributing. How much time has to elapse between my first post and my twentieth post for me to post a product for sale in classifieds?
John Lofgren Monkey Boots Shinki Horsebuttt - $1,136 The classic monkey boot silhouette in an incredibly rich Shinki russet horse leather.
Grant Stone Diesel Boot Dark Olive Chromexcel - $395 Goodyear welted, Horween Chromexcel, classic good looks.
Schott 568 Vandals Jacket - $1,250 The classic Perfecto motorcycle jacket, in a very special limited-edition Schott double rider style. Well its like people were messaging me about my items and the posts were taken down denying these nice people of getting something they really want.If you’re asking these type of questions you’re clearly only interested in selling and not contributing.
You might find eBay more appropriate to sell any items you are wanting to move on.
Looking at my profile, how many of my posts would you consider "legitimate"?Good of you to be so thoughtful, however many of the nice people on here also frequent the various online auction and classified sites.
So, if you advertise your items on these I’m sure they will still be found.
Alternatively, you could always genuinely contribute to the various and varied threads on the FL forums, rather than just making very short and pointless single sentence comments in an effort to build your post count to 20.
Each time I deleted a sales item I sent you the reason for the deletion. Did you not see those notices?I have made more than 20 posts but my sale posts keep getting taken down. Please help.
Yeah it was for insufficient posts but I am over 20Each time I deleted a sales item I sent you the reason for the deletion. Did you not see those notices?
I believe I said, "Insufficient posts in the Open Forums?"Yeah it was for insufficient posts but I am over 20
What do you mean by open forum?I believe I said, "Insufficient posts in the Open Forums?"
If such is the case then couldn't you just carry on the private conversation and potential sale(s) with these nice people in the message(s) already sent to you?Well its like people were messaging me about my items and the posts were taken down denying these nice people of getting something they really want.
I have been a member at TFL for I think close to a year now. I don't have any intention of doing anything malicious. I just have a couple pieces I think the members of this community would be interested in.If such is the case then couldn't you just carry on the private conversation and potential sale(s) with these nice people in the message(s) already sent to you?
It's nothing against you personally per se, but what you are trying to do goes against the spirit of this forum. It's a forum, not a sales platform. The Classifieds exists as a benefit for the members and it's build on trust. To that point, there has been an increased amount of ****mers over the past year or two. Contributing in open (sub)forums within content specific threads helps build rapport and trust.
Looking at my profile, how many of my posts would you consider "legitimate"?
Can I send you a video with my face and the products I am selling? Wouldn't that make me legitimate?I'm no authority here, but here's my view:
When I see items for sale on this forum, I want to know who the sellers are and that they have an investment in this community. If I'm unfamiliar with them, I can click on their profile and see their activity or at least know how many posts they have made (and how many likes received).
That way, I can be more confident it's not a ****.
After all this with you, I still have no confidence that you aren't a ****mer (no offense intended, I just mean to say that you are still an unknown). For the amount of time you are investing in arguing your case, though, I'd reckon you are legitimate.
But here's the other side: not only do I want to know you if I buy anything from you, but I also want to like you or at least trust you. And so far you haven't done anything to earn that trust from me since your posts seem either sneaky or argumentative. Again no offense, but that's all I've seen from you so far.
You contributing in the open forums could definitely change that opinion, though.
Just my personal insight into the matter, but I honestly need to gatekeep less.
First, I'm not the one you have to convince in order to sell here. Can I send you a video with my face and the products I am selling? Wouldn't that make me legitimate?
But I am not new. I have been a member at TFL for almost 1 year
Frankly no !Can I send you a video with my face and the products I am selling? Wouldn't that make me legitimate?
Every time I contribute to the forums I am told they don't count. I can post my 3 items I want to sell in 5 minutes or I have to contribute to the forum 20 times and who knows if it will be considered legitimate.Frankly no !
You’re obviously desperate to help all the ‘nice people’ on here to buy your items, however if only you spent as much time and interest in contributing to the forums as you have done in trying to sell none of this thread would be necessary.
