Trying this again! Up for sale is a Schott 118 in size 44L from 1992.

A bit of a story on this one - when I came across this jacket it was advertised as deadstock/new and still had the tags! I couldn’t believe it as I had never come across a Schott Perfecto that old that was brand new, but sure enough when I received it there were zero signs of wear or creases on it anywhere. All the hardware was scratch/scuff free and it smelled fresh out of the shop. I sent a picture of the pocket tag to Jerri at Schott NYC and she confirmed the jacket was manufactured in 1992.

Regarding the measurements - I had the jacket professionally cleaned and conditioned at LoveYourLeather.ca because it had been in a closet for over 30 years and also chose to tailor it by slenderizing the arms and shortening them (cost me $400 bucks). That’s right, this jacket has been modified so please pay special attention the measurements (the arm circumference especially!) listed as the fit will vary from standard Schott 118’s. The thing that always bothered me about 118’s was how much extra fabric and billowy the arms would be so the arms have been slenderized to more closely resemble the arms on a 613S. The arms are now a bit more snug but I also have bigger arms and a wider frame, so I imagine on a taller, leaner person this jacket will fit like a dream.

Shoulder to Shoulder - 20” Back Length (from bottom of collar seam) - 26.5” Pit to Pit - 22.5” Arm Length - 24” Bicep Circumference - 16” Forearm Circumference - 13” https://imgur.com/f9xT9E9

The arms WILL stretch to perfectly fit the next owner, I just haven’t taken the time to do it and that will surely benefit whoever buys it. The body is longer than a 618 so it’s got a great drape to it as well, similar to a 519 and perfect for anyone who isn't a fan of higher-sitting Perfectos.

I’m fully aware that tailoring a jacket actually diminishes its resale value so I’m willing to take the loss on that. Selling for $600 USD. Buyer pays shipping. Payment accepted via PayPal G&S. References available.

Only worn once after tailoring. This jacket is literally the perfect fit for someone out there and hopefully this sales post helps that person find it! I think if you're normally a 42 and a tall, lean 6 footer or above this is the jacket for you.

It’s a pristine Perfecto in Naked Cowhide from the early 90’s in almost-new condition. That alone makes it worth a look - so thanks for looking!

How much length was taken off the sleeve? I'm 6'3 and lanky but unsure about those arms.
The sleeves hit at about 24" inches right now but the shoulders are wider at 20" and that gives it extra length but for sure I think you should measure your arms and shoulders before-hand to see if they match up. Happy to provide any other measurements you might need.

I think the sleeves previously hit at 25.5" inches before.
