I thought that’s what they were. I have a pair listed on eBay. I bought them in my “normal” size and they were huge! Site suggested sizing up. I need to size down at least 2 sizes. Amazingly nice and hefty pants!

It just feels stiff as you would in a new CXL. The pattern works v well as no weight on neck at all. The sleeves are so thick like for dog trainers or eagle trainers. The stiffest parts are shoulders due to patches - the patches are like 2.5-3oz, but in total would be 7.5-8oz - imagine how thick it is! They give me that much needed broad shoulders v shape look

I bought a piece of 5-6oz Horween SH (not sure if CXL or not) to make a mouton collar - there was some leftover so I commissioned this neck warmer.
I thought it’d be a good idea but underestimated this beast of a hide!!

1994, so all-metal brass talon zips. Weirdly the front and pocket sliders are stainless steel, not sure if replacements (all seems unlikely) or bicolour hardware from the start?
By way of comparison, today I am wearing a Schott 618 also from 1994. Funny how different it looks despite similar pocket layout and dimensions—truly the yin/yang of the preeminent double rider layout…
Both jackets are great on you! Your C2 does have an interesting mix of hardware.

I never owned a leather jacket but I saw this Schott for sale and knew I had to buy it. I paired it with my blue Knox Tom 'n' Jerry stingy-brim fedora and teal guayabera for that "1970's streetwise cop" sort of look.

It looks more than decent. For like a fraction of the price of a Japanese manufacturer, seems like a solid option. One of my favorite patterns ever
