F.S. Rare Vanson Teacore CW Model E Highwayman Full Set 36/38 (21.5 ptp)

Selling this incredible late 70s/early 80s model E. This is from the pre-serial, white size tab, big collar and riveted belt-loops era. It could be the brass hardweared little sibling of Tony(and others)’s teacore E that has done the rounds here—right down to the teacore pull tabs.

This is quite a bit wider and longer than my stock size 36 2003 model E, so may have been a custom order. That would also explain the gorgeous teacore hide this is made of, which is showing through nicely in various places, though slightly hard to photograph. The hide is a bit more supple than the usual comp weight, though that might just be as it is better broken-in. This also comes with a seriously beefy rust coloured real mouton collar—I can’t see any Vanson branding on this, but it is certainly made for this jacket rather than retrofitted. There is no leather-lined *** pocket, which I think is standard on these.

A somewhat rare bird priced to sell at £250 plus shipping (or £200 and I keep the collar and swap the snaps to fit my E but you’d be crazy to miss out!). Do check the measurements as this is larger than my size 38 C2!
