Sent my Dave Sheeley custom jacket to Dena (Great Leathers) to reline the sleeves with something less grabby, and to shorten the sleeves a bit, and fix a loose button. As always, Dena did great work, and I’ve got it back just in time for the chillier weather.

Is it brand new? Is it a custom as per no belt loops?
I don’t know when Al’s stopped making jackets but I’m guessing it’s from late in their output. I got it from a leather guy on eBay who said it was unworn so he probably got it new from Leatherman NYC. It came with a pin badge for a NYC leather bar that was open from 94-04, so I’m guessing it’s late 90s, but that’s very much a guess!

All the Al’s, and many of the Cals produced for the leather scene were sans belt loops, I think, so no indication that it’s custom other than for that particular stockist/scene. There’s quite a few similar setup Al’s floating around out there.

Sorry my bad, I seen Al's and I thought Cal for some reason. A rare bird regardless with the padding:)

Single-stitching on sleeve was tell-tale sign of Al’s. See below link:

Excellent! Never fit so well on me. Looks sleek and from ages past in equal measure on you. Undoubtedly a designer piece, though.

Also, I don't know how nice your day is but I don't recall ever wearing anything more comfortable & breathable which was yet keeping me warm but linen x cotton combo is heaven.
Thanks!
Only thing is sleeve length will be taking a bit getting used to.
It felt good at around 15°C but if need be I have a little room to layer.
Really happy with both blazers!
Nice, what jeans are these?
These are 21oz bootcut from Soso.
