Got a preview of my completed jacket. Not quite what I asked for but it should be nice. I’m too burned out this time of year to make a stink.

That is a very cool looking jacket. Beautiful leather. What part hasn't met your expectations, if you don't mind me asking?

It’s their phantom - asked for a swatch for when they sent the muslin jacket but never got one so rolled the dice a bit as I was not sure I liked the level of shine from photos. They were not open to shinki or horween aspen, didn’t leave the option open for me to source it myself - figure they just got too busy.

I asked for the aviator design (their design!) but with a modified back, riri hw and a removable mouton collar. I used this photo in my discussions with Alan and Damon. Just find it kind of odd now that I see the final product after lengthy discussions. Hope it fits well.

I was disappointed with my JL custom when I got it, primarily due to the fit. I ordered 3.5 HH, and it took a while to relax and form to my body. I really like the jacket now. That said, your jacket looks amazing.

I haven't ordered many custom jackets, but I do think there is a learning curve for the process and an adjustment of expectations that needs to happen, because nothing will be perfect.

All my jackets fit amazing in my opinion i have a jacket in phantom and im in love with it i hope you love your jacket also i find that jl finds a way to make an amazing fit with functionality you will be able to move a lot

Yeah i agree it is always something with any jacket from any maker but as time passes i love them more as they starts to break in and mold for example my aero type three i thought to myself way to boxy but now im in love and with lots of my jackets its a similar story i have a jacket in the works as we speak i hope it comes in b4 x mas

ooooo man I think you are in for a treat I will be waiting for your honest opinion once you get it im still waiting for mine I ordered around the same time I was able to send back pictures of the try on canvas about na week ago im no expert but with jl I notice functionality most its like I can move great in any jacket they have sent me
