Shoulder: NA - raglan sleeves.
Sleeve: c. 34 (measured like a shirt)
Length: 48 (measured from the bottom of the collar down the back)
Likely dating from the 1990s, this is a lovely vintage cotton canvas duster coat from L.L. Bean.
Made from stone-coloured cotton canvas, this is a classic and versatile duster which features a button-in blanket lining with a Southwestern pattern. It features moss-green corduroy collar and matching turn-back ornamental cuffs.
It also features a rear cape across the shoulders.
The coat features raglan sleeves for ease of movement, and a single center vent. It closes with five main buttons and one smaller top button--all the original buttons are present.
The coat features two deep front pockets that have flaps that can be buttoned shut--the pockets have an elegant hacking slant!
It was Made in the USA.
This coat does have some minor cosmetic flaws. There are some small blemishes throughout (as shown) and there is some minor discoloration at the collar. There also a large smudge on the underside of one sleeve, as shown. All of these could easily be considered patina, and testify to a coat with an interesting life behind it already!
