For sale or Trade: my vintage All Weather Horsehide Black Motorcycle Jacket. Just not getting enough rotation. Features removable fur collar, sleeve cuffs with dual snaps, original All Weather Horsehide label, Talon main zip, Conmar pocket zips, interior pocket. This definitely hasn’t been a closet queen and comes with some scuffs and history…and that beautiful horsehide patina from being worn and well loved.
Approximate Measurements (please see photos):
Pit to pit- 22”
Shoulder to shoulder seam- 18.5”
Shoulder to end of sleeve- 24”
Base of neck to bottom- 23”
The Good: Horsehide leather is in wonderful condtion for its age. Main Talon zip works well and looks strong. Snaps all work. Satin lining is mostly in good shape. Removal fur collar is in good shape. And the leather collar area around the neck area looks amazing- (usually the area that deteriorates first.)
The bad: some fraying on the inside lining along the lower belt line. Left side pocket zipper missing a chain pull. Label starting to pull off. Some wear on the leather around the left elbow.
A classic Horsehide Patrol Jacket- with plenty of wear left, and in a rarer large size.
