This was intended as a forever purchase, and I had it made for me by Aero at the end of 2024. Circumstances have meant that I have never actually got to wear it - it has only been tried on from time to time and stored properly in between.

it‘s a phenomenal design and a beautiful jacket but again, circumstances intervene and I am considering letting it go. This is the tumbled version of Aero’s black CXL horsehide. It has a fixed mouton collar, one zipped internal pocket, and has the lateral zips at the back. I have the original tag and paperwork to go with the jacket.

I paid the equivalent of USD $1450, and I am asking for $1000. The black Highwayman I sold here recently cost $150 to ship to the US iclusive of tariffs. I expect this one to cost more but will offer the shipping at the same cost and cover the rest myself, for a total of $1150, shipped.

This jacket is the standard 40 modified only to be very slightly longer in the body (24” instead of 23.75). So the standard chest measurement on the 40 is given as 23.5. With the heavy leather and Locharron lining I think it feels slightly more snug, but the gusseted back construction allows easy movement regardless.

We all know how much prices have increased on these, and that trend will only continue. If you like this example, get in touch and let’s make it happen. More pics to follow.

*edit: I am having issues with uploading the pictures (parsing failure and/or the ‘oops!’ message, mostly). Please open the links where available and forgive the weird orientation issues.

also if you can provide sleeve length and shoulder measurements that would help

Hi @philli - by my understanding, this is not overdyed/teacore. It’s the standard chromexcel leather that Aero uses, given their ‘tumbled’ treatment.

Shoulders: 18.5”
Sleeves: 24”

All CXL leather is teacore, or over dyed, zoom in on the leather zipper pull in the second photo and you can see the teacore rough side

Thank you for clarifying. Aero have another leather that is explicitly described as being over dyed, and that led me to believe that the standard CXL FQHH is not. I am aware of how the zipper pulls and belt edges look, but believed that they are separate parts of the overall jacket and not necessarily representative of the jacket leather itself. I stand corrected.

Man you should seriously consider keeping this jacket - it’s a sale you’d surely regret one day!!

I ordered my KoTR at roughly the same time and have worn it loads… it’s a part of me now - I will sell my car if I have to but not this jacket!!

Haha! Great post there, but it needs a picture to go with it.
I have zero doubt I’d regret losing it. Should I win the lottery or get a new job sooner than expected I will hold onto it.

Here’s your jacket’s twin brother - size 40 in natural CXLHH. In my opinion this is one of Aeros best patterns - and it keeps me disciplined with diet and exercise just to do this pattern justice. I need to keep 32 inch waist to fit into mine with a belt in trousers.

Just cut down spending till your situation improves - I’d been there before - but keep this jacket!!

I will cover shipping costs if this jacket is sold in this next week. $1000 total cost, shipped to your door. You‘re unlikely to see another with this combo of features, lining and collar.
