Crazy isn't it - that software is all Long out of date now - but the jackets they had made for employees are still quite useful and maybe even a little collectable.

Vanson stated production in 1974, so this is likely one of their earlier models.

^^ That's kind of my thoughts on this too sir. I like it, but I'm not sure I would really want it on a jacket you took time to make, if that makes sense. It's still nice, but I hope you keep posting photos of it as you give it more time & wear.

I didn't quite clarify in my earlier post, but the Aero IR & LW J24 are the only two Horsehide jackets left in my small collection.
All else are steer or cowhide.

Very nice Langlitz Padded Columbia with snap off fur collar - states ~ 46-48 Men's size but oddly only ~ 22" pit to pit. Nice long sleeves, back details are odd to me - upper yoke seems different??
