I think I own the pattern on the right. I'll have to go check.

SOLID POTATO SALAD -- the return!

I just saw these gals in a Three Stooges short a few days ago and I couldn't figure out where I had seen them before. Then I log onto the Fedora Lounge and there is the answer to my question. What a funny coincidence!

    Cardigans, cardigans, cardigans!

I got the cashmere 3/4 sleeve Kate cardigan sweater in park green for Christmas and I am in love with it! I'm a larger size as well and have a hard time finding cardigans that are flattering. I second the vote for Lands End's cardigans for larger gals. The cashmere is a nice thick, sturdy...

    Can the Snood Save Christmas?

Well, then again I'll repeat my post about hip hop fashion really coming into it's own during the 1990s.

    Can the Snood Save Christmas?

But, they had a huge resurgence in the 1990s. I'm thinking of the short, school girl look dresses that got popular in the 1990s thanks to movies like Clueless. A lot of the grunge gals wore them as well and I seem to remember seeing them on a lot of supermodels as well. It may have been a...

    Can the Snood Save Christmas?

No one mentioned the real main-stream start of hip hop style in the early 90s?! Think of the clothing worn on In Living Color and Mtv videos... What about all the ugly clothing/hairdos from the tv show Friends? Baby doll dresses? All that herion-chic supermodel fashion ugliness?

    *Obnoxious* Vintage Fashions you LOVE

I totally love wacky late teens/early 20s bathing costumes. Preferably with big bold prints. I saw a picture of one once with a spierweb design on it. Love. I also really love Mexican souvenier circle skirts. I have one from Acapulco with cliffs and cliff divers painted on it. And...

    Show us your vintage patterns!

Ladies, thank you for your feedback regarding selling vintage patterns on eBay. Your expertise is very helpful! I have one more question, under which category do you list your vintage patterns? When I searched for vintage patterns, I found multiple categories that they would fit under...

    Show us your vintage patterns!

A question regarding selling vintage patterns... Is it better to sell them in lots on eBay? Do you tend to get a better price that way? I have 5 deadstock 1920s patterns (3 dresses, 2 blouses) all bust 38. Do you think I should sell them seperately or in a lot to get the best price?

    Show us your hair do's....

The few times I've tried velcro/brush rollers, they got tangled up horribly in my hair. I guess they are okay if you have straight, fine hair, but I would not recommend them for thick, curly hair.

    Witch Hazel

The Thayer's rose witch hazel has a really nice scent. It smells just like rosewater or like real roses. I hate that sickly sweet scent that a lot of manufacturers try to pass off as rose, that smells nothing like roses. Dr. Bronner's Rose castile soap has that sickly sweet scent to it. It's...

    Your Favorite Film Costumes

I thought it was Carefree, but I googled and googled and could not find a picture of that dress so I thought I was wrong. :) Thanks for the picture! I love that dress.

    Your Favorite Film Costumes

I've always had it bad for the green dress with plaid trim that Ann Miller wears in the Prehistoric Man number in On the Town. I couldn't find a photo of the dress, but here's a video clip from YouTube: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AM4L38u5vpE Also, in what movie does Ginger Rodgers...
