I think I found the term! Temkin called it an "open roll" brim.

Temkin had a special name for the brim of the Milaner, but I cannot remember it now. The following expressions come to mind, but I don't know if any of them are accurate: "open brim," "semi-curl brim," "open curl brim ... Does anyone remember the term or expression he used for the brim? TIA.

Another Borsalino to share. I bought this a few years ago before the Pandemic. If you can tell me anything you might know about the fedora, I'd very much appreciate it. At the time I purchased the hat, I did not know that one should order a size up for Borsalinos. Unfortunately it sits too...

I purchased this vintage Borsalino a couple of weeks ago. I do not know its age. All I can tell you is that the felt is exceptionally soft and supple. The color is grey (I think) with a hint of sage green. It does not have a liner. If anyone can tell me anything about it, I'd appreciate it...

I'm not wearing it today but I was wearing it yesterday--my new bespoke fedora from Hufvud: silverbelly beaver felt and silverbelly bound edge, with silver 2" hatband. I love this fedora!

That narrow brim Homburg reminds me of a hat I saw in a movie once. I think I'm thinking about the hat worn by the professional gunfighter in Open Range.

I thought "tomorrow" was too good to be true. UPS just alerted me that they will now deliver the Floki on Monday.

Just want everyone to know that the Oxblood Floki is my hat! It's due to arrive tomorrow! Can't wait!
