Huge fan of Sears hats. It probably has something to do with nostalgia and some sadness (with their missed opportunity to be an Amazon competitor).
Pilgrim was the “house” brand for their clothing line for many years.

Discovered this in a thrift store in West Plains, Missouri (hometown of Porter Wagoner!) for $2.00 today.
Dresher Brothers (Omaha), 6-1/2” crown, 5” brim. Size 7-1/4. Guessing circa-1930.
Started as tailors and evolved into a major dyer / cleaner. 1898 until the 1960s.
As found...
Incoming. Looks like a cool (possibly 100-year-old) hat from the Willard E. Dorsett clothing store in Paris, Illinois. I’ve found references to the store in 1918 and 1920, as well as a different store that Mr. Dorsett worked at in 1908.
