It was hard for me, but fortunatly my granny was great in helping (at the end she did the most, though ;) !)...

Recently my lindy hop teacher had the same problem, and she bought a beautiful wig, with black long hair. She also use flowers in her wig and scarf or bandana.

I had the heeled Mary Jane (http://www.dancestore.com/Aris-Allen-1940s-Black-White-Spectator-Mary-Jane-Wingtip/productinfo/151-BW/) as birthday present last year.
I had to send them back as they were too small, but now I have the new pair and last week I danced during the lindy hop lesson...
Here is my "new" kimono.
It is used, but as good as new one! They said is old, but couldn't tell me how old...
And again, I tryed to tie my obi, but I don't remember how to do it...can you explain in simple way LaMedicine?
