New in town and seeking a stylist...

Black salons still do wet sets, which are the foundation of many vintage styles. Finger waves and pin curls are still popular there as most of the clientele rely on these methods to upkeep their styles.

Thanks! I was so confused! lol I obviously read it wrong and mistook the "1" for an "I".

Ebay Hats: Victories, Defeats, Gripes & Items of Interest

I was always under the impression that "W.I." stood for "West Indies" ( I know it's Wisconsin when it's "WI"). I won this hat from an overseas seller and I am still waiting on it, but the milliner's address is on the tag and it indicated it is located at 19 Berkeley Street W.I., but it comes up...

What's Your Favorite Fall Weather Drink?

I don't drink alcoholic beverages so my fall drinks are hot chocolate with whipped cream or Earl Grey tea..or any black tea really with honorable mention going to English Breakfast and Irish Breakfast mixed with cream and sugar.

    Official Fedora Lounge Hat/Lapel Pin

Yes, I love the idea. The original pin. The only thing that would make it better is if the actual name "The Fedora Lounge" could be imprinted on it for the benefit of the lounge and that would most likely require the pin to be a bit bigger in size.

Anyone from Erie, Pennsylvania, U.S.A. a regular Greyhound bus passenger?

Not to derail the thread but when I think of Erie, I still recall that horrible case about a decade ago when the pizza delivery guy was robbed and they put a bomb around his neck and forced him to rob a bank under the threat of the bomb exploding and it eventually it did. It was a most unusual...

Anyone from Erie, Pennsylvania, U.S.A. a regular Greyhound bus passenger?

Yes craigslist has a personals section but the category you would go to is "Missed connections". Your local newspaper may even have one. You may even run into them again when you're out and about so here's hoping you get lucky. I don't think it's too much effort to post an ad on there. It would...

    Ladies show us your best.

Question: What do you ladies wear underneath sheer blouses? I have been finding a lot of beautiful blouses lately but unfortunately they are sheer. I'm thinking of maybe just a one piece shapewear underneath but just wanted to seek out any alternatives.

Anyone from Erie, Pennsylvania, U.S.A. a regular Greyhound bus passenger?

I like the idea of a pin. I would definitely wear it and an eye catching pin would possibly mean more exposure and traffic for the lounge. Was their final destination Erie or was that a layover for them? Craigslist has a missed connections section you can post ads looking for people if indeed...

Anyone have a maid when growing up?

Nope, didn't have a maid, my grandmother WAS the maid. At a hotel that is.

Greyhound buses give me nightmares. I see a lot of hipsters dressing vintage these days. Or maybe they really do draw their inspiration from Mad Men.

HULK HOGAN's New Restaurant Dress Code.
