I can’t believe Akubra killed off the taupe color Campdraft - a great color. If I had known, I would have ordered 3 of them and stored them away. Other than going to a funeral or wearing black tie, can’t imagine ever wearing a black hat.

No, it’s new. I just tried a suede brush (with the soft metallic bristles) instead of just a hat brush and it helped considerably.

For anyone interested, picture shows from left to right, mid brown RM Williams hat, cedar brown Campdraft, and burnt oak Fedora. Probably only useful to show the relative shades of brown, not the actual color.

I believe they are sold out on all sizes.
