From my perspective neither looks better than the other, both good enough. I like bigger brims these days because hiding from the sun has become my MO.

I like to wear hats low myself, brim just touching the ears. A Cattleman definitely touches the top of my head so I raise the dome to keep it off my head.

Size up. They shrink. Sunbody actually recommends it.
