I've had my CXL FQHH Aero Hooch Hauler for about 5 years and I still don't know the answer to that question. And that's after multiple shower/cool dryer sessions, on top of semi-regular wear.
Mine's CXL FQHH, what CaunckPanda would probably say is the older, thicker version than what Aero currently uses. It looks gorgeous, has zero give, and cannot be layered easily. If I were doing it again, I would go CXL Steerhide.

I can't speak for Panda, but in the context of this thread I understood him to mean CXL steer vs. horse (though he didn't say that). I've never handled CXL steer but a few others on here have also said the steer is more pliable than the horse.
