My "lowrider" Dodger hat. Lowrider hats were an invention of the Mexican lowrider crowd in L.A. way back when. See https://www.frankshatsgarciahats.com/
Pic is not today but an earlier visit to Dodger Stadium.
I actually think this thing looks pretty lame and I bought it on a whim a few years...
Is your first picture the same hat as the other two? The first looks like it is in the ballpark of what you ordered. The greenish one is not bluegrass green. I will say that colors in digital photos and on computers can vary widely. A picture of my Akubra bluegrass green hat in front of my...
Thanks. I'm still very much a newbie at this too and still learning, fortunately this is the place to be for that. My collection is small, pretty much all Western or quasi-Western types. This eBay purchase is not only my first Borsalino but my first true fedora-type hat. Hope you enjoy yours!
eBay find, Akubra Snowy River, seller's starting bid $100, got it for $65 my offered price, a bargain. Hat is virtually new, I doubt it was ever worn, and fits perfectly. (I am becoming an Akubra fan, my fourth now.)

Nice. I have a Blue Mountain myself, but haven't worn it much.

Larry Parks (left), my best friends' Dad growing up in the 50's. Starred in Al Jolsen story and many other major movies until blacklisted by Senator McCarthy in early 50's.
Keeping with the theme, Hopalong Cassidy [William Boyd], center. Hopalong lived next door to my grandmother when I was a little tyke, would visit him often and most enjoyed getting to sit in his car and mess with it. (I was born a car guy, not into horses!)
