I appreciate it. I’m very happy with it. Ill post some updates once I spend some time in it. I’m still on the fence about the plain nickel snaps though. They are growing on me but I still love the branded ones a tad bit more. I’m gonna give it some time and reevaluate it in a few months.
Thanks, it definitely is a bit snug but I was hesitant to go up a size due to the sleeves and back length going up too. This thing is beautiful though. I’m really impressed with this one. It is basically flawless. Haven’t spotted any stitching issues or loose threads. The leather is just lovely...
Howdy y’all! I finally got my exchange done with Schott and received a jacket free of issues that I want to keep and wanted to get you fine folks opinions about the fit. It feels good to me. It’s a little tight but I can still move fine and get it zipped with my thickest sweater. Also after...
Yeah, I like the blackout hardware but they definitely lose the classic look and are a little underwhelming in that regard. I guess just understated would be a more positive way to put it. I don’t mind the plain nickel but I think with the minimal detail of the jacket the schott branded snaps...
Yeah, they seem to be top notch in that department. I reached out and they are going to honor the original price and I asked them about the snaps and they said it would be $75 to replace them which is cheaper than expected. They also are gonna send me some stars to put on my girlfriend’s jacket...

Cool Vintage Schott Cafe Racer. I would snag this one for myself but it’ll be way too small for me. Looks to be in great condition!
Yeah, I think you’re right. Like I said my girlfriend’s schott from the 80s has none of this kind of wear at all. I contacted them and they are gonna honor the original price I paid. Hopefully the third one is flawless. Getting a bit inpatient and want to start breaking in a shiny new jacket...
Yeah, that’s my plan. I have a feeling you are right. I’m just glad I noticed cause i was about to remove the tags. It really is such a nice jacket I can’t wait to find one without issues.
Yeah, its kind of hard to get a photo to show it but basically it’s catching right at the seam and biting into the leather and getting snagged on it. Just zipping it up a few times the leather has I few chunks missing and flaking off. I called and got no answer and have emailed them as well. The...
Yeah, I expect that to be one of quickest and most worn areas but yeah it seems to really be biting into it. Plus looking at my girlfriend’s perfecto from the 80s that was owned and heavily worn by a biker until she bought it off her there isn’t even close to the amount of damage thats on this...
Yeah, its not so bad now but it will get stuck sometimes and I’ll eventually be using this as a riding jacket. Its taking off material every time it zips. And if it was used I think I could overlook it a bit more easily but for a full price new jacket I don’t know if I want to.
