Love the new dresses by both funda62 and kamikat. Great work! I just finished by first skirt. It looks lovely, but it's about a 1/2 inch away from being able to be zipped up. :( I guess it's a real sign I need to stick to my diet more.
I'm larger in the chest too and have had good luck with the Bali Flower bra. It runs in bigger sizes, and gives that vintage look without being too pointy. I find it to be a nice balance. Bonus is that it's really affordable too. It has fantastic support, and while I bought it for my vintage...
I'm going to look for one of those. I've been using my dining room table, but it's a fairly small table. Normally if I'm cutting cottons it's fine, but this was a bit too big.

I was going crazy with it yesterday. It was so static clinging I couldn't do anything with it.
The two that are in the picture together are printed ones, so that I'm use to. the rest are all the perforated ones. I've told myself that since I'm fairly new to all patterns it will be just as easy to learn to work with them as it will the modern kind. :)

Isn't it great! I couldn't resist it. I really love the Hollywood patterns. I've yet to see one that I don't like. There was another I loved, but missed out on.
No, I picked up a McCalls vintage style pattern when my local fabric store had them on sale. I'm not quite daring enough yet to try my own pattern. I just need to take a few photos now that they are finished.
