Interesting thread. I've never had a custom made hat, but I was looking at Northwest Hats and their rabbit fur hats seem reasonable at $299.00. I'm not sure how much higher the price would go when you figure in shipping and taxes. Any ideas on how high the price could go for a rabbit felt fedora?

Hello. Hope you all are having a good day. Here are a few pics of my Stetson Premier Whippet. I put a sloppy diamond type bash in it and lowered the crown a bit. The felt is soft and pliable. No steam necessary.

The Premier Whippet arrived today. The felt is very soft and there doesn't seem to be any stiffener. I'd post pics but iIm not sure if this is the right place for them.

The one I found is an open-crown Premier Whippet in black size 7 1/4.

I found a U.S made Premier Whippet on eBay. The price was right. I'm hoping it's a good hat.

Hey all. i was wondering if anyone has any thoughts on the Premier Whippet? I see lots of opinions on the Premier Stratoliner, but not much so far on the premier Whippet. Maybe I'm looking in the wrong places? Thanks.
