You might want to start first by communicating with Carol at hatshapers. To my understanding they make them on site and have ability to adjust....
You need to go larger or it will fit too tight once the leather hand band is in. I just measured my vintage 7 1/2 block and it actually measures...

I have several. They work well and it's nice to have the option to buy something inexpensive and off the shelf. They obviously aren't pinable...
