Thanks Steven. By the way, I broke out the 2 Borsalino Verdi's that I purchased from your store.
Thanks to everyone else -- GREAT sense of humor!!! I needed the laugh!
You might want to try Glenmorangie. According to a WSJ article a few years back, this the best selling single malt in Scotland. Interestingly, it's more expensive in Scotland than in the USA. They actually use old Bourbon casks, shipped from the US in the production/aging process! By far one...
Something worth considering.... cordovan leather (shoes) is essentially horsehide. Cordovan shoes can last a lifetime (with resoling); not so other types of leather shoes. Granted it comes down to the quality of the leather and the tanning process, but all things being equal, I'd take...
I bought a vintage Moe Penn hat - pearl gray - on eBay. Great hat. Like new. I never heard of Moe Penn before. Not much info on the internet. I'll try and post a picture.
Is anyone familiar with Moe Penn?

I'm a relatively new member to this great website. I currently own a few fedoras - Stetson, Borsalino & some straws. I'm interested in anyone's thoughts, ideas and/or opinion on what folks think a suitable brim width would be for today's fashion era. My hats range from 2" to 3.5"s. The last...
2 eBay wins
First eBay win was a used Moe Penn fedora in light gray, with the original box. Never heard of this brand before, but the hat is a true beauty/like new. Anyone familiar with this brand?
Second eBay win was a Stetson Open Road - New old stock. A real gem!
Just tried the silicone glue method earlier today. Worked for me. Many thanks for the advice and help. My search for a solution on how to repair my straw hat led me to the this thread and the the Fedora Lounge site - a new member as well.
Many thanks - Jake
