You are spot on. I like the idea of dents. Money isn't really an issue in terms of finding something that should last me a long time. I liked the look of the Churchill mendelboaz suggested, but will take a look at the Dents too. Compromise, like you said, is key - I'd like a nice middle ground...

Thank you!! It is Cuoio. In terms of sizing it's tagged an XXL. I'm usually an L (42-44) in US sizing, but then again, there is a rather thick shearling liner inside and I know Thedis usually run a bit on the tighter side.

Well folks it came! Don't think I've ever handled a jacket so sturdy, stylish, and well-made. The Buffalo is supple yet thick, and has some really nice grain.
