I was quite active on here from 2011-2018 then just stopped visiting for unknown reasons. I learned SO much from reading all the wonderful information and great pictures. I just came back the other day and realized how much I enjoyed it here! I hope to reclaim my "familiar face" status again.
If I remember correctly I requested a 24" back on my slim halfbelt. It measures 23.25" which actually is probably better than a true 24". My sleeves however measure exactly what I requested at 24.5"
Found this today at a flea market for $20. It's too big for me so I want to sell it. I'm hoping one of you can give me an idea of it's value. It's made by Dobbs Industries. The tag is hard to read. It's heavier than my Spiewak.
I'm almost exactly the same as you. 5'4" 115 pounds 34 chest. I almost always go custom. My Aero slimfit halfbelt is a perfect jacket for me. It has a 23 inch long back and a 34 inch chest. I have a Lost Worlds 34 short Ryder. And a new US Authentic A2 in a 34 short. Custom will be your best fit.
I think I'd fit in well for 1930-50 clothing. I'm 5'5" and vintage clothes seem to fit me well. I don't like high rise pants though. I prefer a regular rise. I like my jackets to be 23" long. In fact I have a huge problem finding clothes that fit me. Everything these days is way too long on me...
