I got rid of all my Fleece, sweat shirts and the like and got sweaters. Most I found in thrift stores for a very good price and some on eBay. I think they look better and more like you "care". I do think your on to a good idea. Just my 2¢.
My first "car" was a truck, a 1955 Ford. From it I earned enough to get my first car.
A 1956 Chevy. 265 v-8, 3- 2 barrel carbs and a 4-speed (what fun!). Here I am getting ready for Friday night at the Dragstrip, still have my membership card and my lowest race time in the quarter mile (13.94).
Thank You for posting this, so many folks here will remember and (I hope) share with others, the memories on film of the brave men and women from that time.
First, please do not use vintage photos! I would have the photo scanned,(my business) printed and then frame the print. You save the photo for the future and prints from it can then be made.
As for frames, I use vintage frames I find at thrift stores, garage sales and on-line. I really like...
My Grandfather had something that looked like that, so maybe? It held a few roll your own smokes, he would make a few before he went to the farm work for the day. Good luck!
