I have a friend who inherited this hat. It is a Stetson 3X purchased at the Disney store in the 1950s. Can anyone identify this hat? Note the unique binding around the brim. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

Akubra Pilbara in Recency Fawn. I reshaped the crown with a teardrop, hand rolls, and a tight pinch. Finished with a Southwestern-themed leather hatband and charm.

Akubra Cattleman in Sand given the Jubal/Horse Whisperer treatment with a leather and concho hatband.

Akubra Sombrero with a very unique hatband made of fire hardened gourd rinds. I shaped it into a western topper pork pie crown with a little tilt to one side to give it a little character. Inside is a liner I picked up on Etsy.

Hola all, I am thinking of getting a Campdraft with the idea of doing a "six-shooter" crease on it. (3 dents in front and 3 in the back) The Bushman would have been a better brim for it, but being discontinued, I can't find any in my size. Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated.

Gracias my Canadian Compadre! I will keep your caveat in mind and have some rub that should help with the snakeskin. I have been getting multiple inquiries and compliments while wearing it. The Woomera is giving me other ideas to pursue. A great problem to have!
